TRUE function in Excel

Hello All. Let’s explore the TRUE function in excel. Excel is a logical function that returns the boolean value “TRUE”. Most of the times, IF function is used as the TRUE function just returns the boolean value.

Syntax:

=TRUE()

Let’s look a simple example where the true function is used. In the below dataset, we are checking if values in column B is greater than A. If yes, true else false.

If the condition isn’t met, the function automatically returns the value FALSE. Note: We don’t have 2 arguments for the if condition (one for condition met and one for condition not met). Here we just have one TRUE() function and the function toggles between TRUE and FALSE based on the success of the condition.
